“I see the sacred everywhere and in every person” was Venice Williams’ response to the question “Where do you see the sacred?” last Tuesday evening during our Living Faith gathering at Alice’s Garden. Venice’s words reminded us how easy it is to forget this foundational understanding because so much of the world conspires against this. We believe that each person is created in the image of God. What a gift to celebrate and remember this truth about ourselves and each person we encounter. How do we make sure we live into this whenever we encounter another person?
