Our 2025 theme of Bearing Witness seems all too relevant with each passing day.  As we enter into February at our Kairos Dinner, we will explore the story of Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego from the third chapter of the book of Daniel.  It’s a powerful story love and faith and of taking action in a moment full of hard questions:

• What does it mean to live one’s faith when a leader demands absolute loyalty?

• What lines do we decide we cannot cross?

• At what point do we push back?

• What does it mean to take risks together?

• What does it mean to fully trust God in tough situations?

I look forward to a rich discussion as we wrestle with these questions and reflect on what meaning this story holds for us today.
