For over 20 years, Solomon Tesfai has served in various cross-functional roles spanning; Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Revenue Management. His experience includes long tenures with two Fortune 500 CPG companies located in the Midwest. His experience includes, but is not limited to, Director of Revenue Management where he led all pricing and revenue tactics for the largest region in his company, with revenue of more than $4B. Solomon was also Controller of a $1B manufacturing hub, where he drove labor effectiveness, waste improvement, and procurement management. In his most recent experience, Solomon served as the Vice President of Integrated Business Planning, where he stood up a new centralized planning team which fully integrated commercial planning, demand planning, and financial planning.
In addition to his professional work, Solomon has also shown his passion for community outreach during his engagement as member of the board of directors for Milwaukee Urban League, where he stood up the audit committee and created the audit policy. He has also served on the board of directors for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County (Diversity and Inclusion Council), and the Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy (Board Treasurer).
Solomon was also the recipient of the Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award in 2015.
Solomon earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and his MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
